Well, there are only a few days until Christmas!!! I know that a lot of the time we focus mainly on the gifts that we are going to receive, but we all need to strive to remember the real reason for the Christmas season. We need to remember the real reason for Christmas....... Jesus birth. I never understood why we get tons of gifts on Christs birthday? Forget about the gifts and DON'T forget about Christ. KEEP THE CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS!!!

The Christmas Season

It's snowing today, and I'm sooooo excited. I love to play in the snow with my sissy's. I always am so good during Christmas season. I never seem to get in trouble....... I LOVE it when I am good! We need to remember that we should be more focussed on giving gifts to people rather than receiving gifts. I realize that it is more fun to get gifts, but it is more BLESSED to give than receive.

Friends are friends forever (Something to think about)

Here is something to think about!!!

Michael W. Smith has a song "Friends are friends forever"(It was on our 8th grade banquet movie) It says that friends are friends forever IF the Lords the Lord of them. So, we need to remember that we need to have God at the center of all of our relationships. I promise that if we focus on God in our relationships and not the other person or what the other person thinks it will be a good long friendship!!!!

Hello to all,
I just thought about something to write about, friends. It seems to me that this year we have been having a lot of problems with friends and not treating friends like we should be treating them. I can't remember where, but somewhere in the Bible it tells us that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (That friend is Jesus) That verse means that even when we are not perfectly getting along with others we always have Jesus to go to and we can always count on him, because he will never leave us. I must say that could make you have a really,really,really,really, good day!!!!

In this world

You know how when you were little and you always wanted to be the most attractive person, and your parents said, " It doesn't matter what's on the outside it's what's on the inside that counts." Well, in the world that we live in people usually look at the out-ward appearance. I'm not saying this so you strive to be the most attractive person in your class, but to say unlike the people of this world God doesn't look at what we look like, but what our hearts look like. "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:6-8 When ever someone is making fun of you because of what you look like you need to remember that they are looking at you for the wrong reasons and that they should be looking at your heart. If you have a good heart that pleases God that's the only thing that matters. If a person can't be kind to you because you aren't beautiful or handsome than that person is not a person that you want to be spending time with.
